Understanding Unique Visitor, Visitor, Pageview and Bounce Rate

Undique Unique Visitor, Visitor, Pageview and Bounce Rate - In this article I will explain the notion of Unique Visitor, Visitor, Pageview and Bounce Rate that you can see below

  • 1. Unique Visitor

Unique Visitor is the Number of visitors from one IP within a certain time. The number of Unique Visitors is the first indicator of a website's success, the higher the unique visitors, the greater the chances of the website being reached, and the effect on the site's ranking. the effect is also good on alexa rank, but not necessarily good on google PR, because google also take into account the quality of visitors, while the number of visitors can be engineered with traffic exchange program (Auto and Manual Surfing). One visitor who visits several times to our website will only count only once.
  • 2. Visitor

Visitor is a visitor who is opening our website, either open for deliberate, or open due to stray, or coincidence. Unlike the unique visitor, this statistic shows the total number of visits that occurred. So one visitor or one IP address can be counted several times as much as the visits made. Every 1 Visitor must have 1 pageview (the page being viewed). If 1 visitor is interested in the articles on our website, then most likely visitors will generate more than 1 Pageview. Then create a website with articles that are as attractive as possible, so that every visitor not just stop for a moment, but stop by while walking in another article page of your blog.
  • 3. Pageview

Pageview is the page that Visitor is viewing. As the definition above, 1 Visitors will definitely generate 1 Pageview. If 1 visitor opened 5 posts / articles on your blog, then the number of Pageview will increase 5, but the number of Visitor still remain 1. So, the more visitors, it will enable your website get a lot of Pageview.
  • 4. Bounce Rate

Bounce Rate is the average percentage rate between the visits with page views (visits per page) blog posts. This means that the number of visits divided by visits per page within a certain time period. Why in a certain period of time? Because this has to do with google or pagerank ranking system that is usually updated 3 months.

For example if Visitor or visitor 50 per day pageviews 75, the formula to calculate it is 50/75 = 66.66%. So the bounce rate is 66.66%. Which is a better bounce rate high or low? Obviously a good low. Try counting again for example if pageviews added to 200 = 25%. What do the numbers mean? Visitors 50 people with page openings of only 75 means a visitor opens no more than 2 articles. While visitors 50 with pageviews 200 means an average of 1 visitor open 4 articles. Can you tell the difference?

Thus the article Understanding Unique Visitor, Visitor, Pageview and Bounce Rate . Hopefully Helpful, thank you
