The state government is working to make the law in this direction.
In addition to giving 80% jobs to the Gujaratis, the state government desires that the industry employs 25% of the employment in the area where the industry is engaged. CM Vijay Rupani said that we are going to bring this kind of law. This will benefit the state engineers, computer practitioners and other local youth. According to a government proposal passed in March 1995, people living in the state have been defined as local people for the last 15 years. However, now it has been reduced to seven years.
