Government employees' decision on the GPF account will get so much interest till June 30
The central government has set interest rates for employees of General Pvt. Funds. During the first quarter period of the new fiscal, interest rates have been kept at 8%. Earlier, interest rates were kept in the first quarter period. The General Provident Fund, which can be opened by a general provident fund, can be opened by the GPF. The government has decided that the interest rate of General Provident Fund will be 8% from 1st April to 30th June. Interest rates will be applicable to central government employees, rail employees, and security forces provident funds. There will be no change in this interest rate.
The amount deposited in this account comes after the retirement of the employee. The amount deposited in this fund comes from the tax exemption under Section 80C of Income Tax. 8% interest will be given on the amount deposited in the GPF account.
This account can be opened by Government of India employees. It is also imperative to have a specific salary to open this account.
